Abstract: Objective To study the effect of polysaccharides from Opuntia dillenii Haw. on hyperlipidemic mice. Methods 28 mice were randomly divided into four groups. The hyperlipidemic mice models were established. Then the content of TC、 TG、 MDA and the activities of SOD in mice blood were determined.Results After 15 d treatment, the TC，TG and MDA content in Opuntia dillenii Haw. group were lower than those in model group，and SOD content was higher than that in model group. ConclusionPolysaccharides from Opuntia dillenii Haw. has the funtion of reducing the blood lipid in mice.
