Abstract: The application of nanotechnology in anti-tumor research is increasing extensively. The anti-tumor active ingredients of natural Chinese herbal medicines have the advantages of high efficiency， low toxicity and multiple targets， but their low water solubility，low bioavailability and nonspecific distribution in vivo limit their wide application. Nano-drug delivery systems provide ideal carriers for targeted delivery of anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicines in vivo. A large number of researches have confirmed that nano-drug delivery systems provide a broad application prospect for the clinical application of anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicines. In this paper，the anti-tumor principle of active components of herbal medicines and the application of various nanotechnology in antitumor were reviewed. The aim is to provide reference for the tumor treatment with active components of herbal medicines.
