A one-dimensional inverse parabolic problem can be encounter when we research simulation of homogeneous porous medium flow in physics. The problem consists of a parabolic equation with two conditions which are unknown at the boundaries and a condition which is determined from an over-specified data measured at an interior point. In order to solve this problem, uniqueness of the solution should be proved first, then the problem is discretized and a finite difference scheme is given. Stability conditions for numerical solution to inverse problem are stated. A set of Chebyshev polynomials are approximate to the unknown function and the unknown set of expansion coefficients in unknown function are determined from the Least-squares method. In the last section the paper gives some numerical examples.

This paper studies an elliptic system involving Sobolev critical exponent. By the variational methods, we can obtain the existence of local minimum point of the energy functional related to the system which is near zero, and the local minimum point is the positive solution to this system. Moreover, It is also proved that this positive solution tends to zero when the perturbed term goes to zero.

Considering the complication of the realistic problem and the limitation of research into locations-routing problem of logistics separately and integrated logistics, the paper studies location-routing problem including multi-depot in integrated logistics. Model of LRP is given on the basis of some hypotheses. Because LRP is NP-hard problem, a two-phase heuristic approach for solving the LRP is proposed. In location-allocation phase, after the candidate facilities and their customers are determined by using taboo-search algorithm, vehicle routing phase is assorted to by adopting ant colony algorithm to search the optimal routes. These two phases operate repeatedly and continuously until meeting the condition of termination. At last, the dissertation gives an example to illustrate the model and algorithm effectiveness.

Spontaneous emission of a three-level V-type atom driven by a pair of bichromatic fields on the basis of density matrix equation and quantum regression theories are studied. The results show that the spontaneous emission depends strongly on the difference between the relative phases of two bichromatic fields, without depending on the respective phase or relative phase. Selective elimination of the spontaneous emission can be achieved simply by varying the relative phase difference.

ObjectiveTo study impact of Nef PKA phosphorylation site on HIV replication. MethodsTo mutate Nef Ser9 to alanine in the context of full-length HIVNL4-3 to make a single mutant of HIV DNA, then make viral stock by using either wild-type HIV or the single mutant HIV. Finally using these viral stocks to infect PBMCs. ResultsVirus made from single mutant of Ser9 to alanine lowered HIV replication in resting PBMCs compared to parental virus. ConclusionThis mutation plays a major role in abrogating the Nef effect on HIV replication in unstimulated primary cells. This result suggests that Nef phosphorylation by PKA is an important step in the viral life cycle in resting cells.
