Abstract: ObjectiveTo study level changes of urea nitrogen (Urea), creatinine (Crea), hemoglobin (HGB) and white blood cell (WBC) in the blood of the normal pregnant women, and to probe into the reasons for the changes of the indexes and the significance for the pregnant women. MethodsUsing ADVIA2400 automatic biochemical analyzer and ABX-PENTRA60 hematology analyzer to detect serum urea nitrogen(Urea), creatinine (Crea), hemoglobin (HGB) and white blood cell (WBC) of 145 normal pregnant women and 125 non-pregnant women (the controls). ResultsThe concentrations of serum urea nitrogen (Urea), creatinine (Crea), hemoglobin (HGB) were decreased for normal pregnancy women than those for the control group, but their white blood cell (WBC) was raised for the control group′. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). ConclusionThe urea nitrogen(Urea), creatinine (Crea), hemoglobin (HGB) and white blood cell (WBC) in the blood plasma of the normal pregnancy women should not be considered in accordance with the normal reference range. The characteristics of detecting results should be given sufficient consideration and the reference range for the normal pregnant women should be established.
