Influential Factors on Participation Frequency of Medical Undergraduate Interns in Clinical Teaching Activities

Abstract: Objective The investigation is designed to explore the influential factors on participation frequency of interns in clinical teaching activities and find ways to improve it. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 91 clinical medical undergraduate interns in a hospital affiliated to a university in Wuhan. Results Among each factor in the investigation,the influences of the frequency of interactive teaching activities in clinical departments and the satisfaction of clinical practice atmosphere,etc. on participation frequency of interns in clinical teaching activities were statistically significant. Conclusion It is possible to increase the participation frequency of interns in clinical teaching activities via the guidance of clinical teachers and the applying of interactive teaching models.
