Abstract: The fragrant artemisia one′ s dual-purpose seedling of roots and artemisia which use soil ，grass carbon，perlite and chicken manure as substrate were studied. Used randomized block design and analyzed the effects of different treatment on the growth and development of plants. The results showed when the substrates proportion of soil ，grass carbon，perlite and chicken manure was 1∶2∶5∶2，it could improve the seedling index and seedling establishment rate，and could increase the plant height ，the plant wide and leaves number ，promote the growth of stolons. It is the perfect substrate in the experiments.
