Abstract: Bisphenols(BPs)are the most common environmental endocrine disruptors, and their concentration is still increasing in the environment. Through the digestive system, respiratory system, and dermal contact,BPs enter the human body and then induce negative health effects. Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women worldwide. Epidemiological and clinical data suggest that hormones,as well as endocrine disruptors, play important roles in the development and progression of breast cancer. Long- time lowdose exposure to bisphenols also promotes the development and metastasis of breast cancer. This paper described the research progress and the underlying mechanisms of BPs on promoting breast cancer metastasis, providing new thoughts on understanding breast cancer metastasis from the perspective of environmental pollutants.
