Abstract: With the development of society，the original rural housing has been unable to meet the needs of modern life and resource-saving society. Thus，transforming the original rural housing and putting forward new energy-saving rural housing are the main contents. Creating a comfortable living room has become a bright spot. Analyses ubiquitous problem focusing on the material of wall，the construction of door，roof and ground，the use of energy and the ventilation of building，and points out the advantages and disadvantages. With the usage of new techniques and processes，propose optimization for constructing new rural residential housing pattern with Hubei characteristics.
