Abstract: With the development of industry and the continuous increase of waste emissions，heavy metals pollution becomes more and more serious，it can cause the reduce of agricultural acreage，heavy metals in excess of the standards in corps，and eventually harms human health. The author presented a review of recent researches on soil heavy metals pollution condition in China，side effects on plants，screening of heavy metals low accumulated plants， stability of heavy metals low accumulated crops. The future research directions are prospected.
