Abstract: Based on the theory of diamond model，according to the current situation of skiing industry，from the angles of production factor，demand conditions，related and supportive industries，enterprise strategy and peer competition，government，and opportunity，this paper systematically analyzed the skiing industry and established the evaluation system of the core competitiveness of the skiing industry. The indexes weights of the evaluation system were determined with mathematical statistics and structural entropy weight method. The results showed that the evaluation system of core competitiveness of skiing industry contained six primary indexes and 18 secondary indexes，the enterprise strategy and peer competition were the most important factors in primary indexes，and peer competition had the greatest influence on the indexes. Finally，the practical application of the system was discussed in order to help the development of skiing industry in China.
