Synthesis and Characterization of Flame Retardant Polymer Electrolyte for Lithium Ion Battery

Abstract: Copolymer MPEH was synthesized with methylphosphonic dichloride,polyethylene glycol and cyclohexanediol. The product was characterized by FTIR,1H-NMR and 31P-NMR. The LOI value of 20wt% MPEH-PE membrane which used polyethylene as matrix improved from 18. 6% to 26. 4%,and a significant carbon layer was formed after combustion.
