Our Party has formed different spirits in the different historic periods, and the one which can best reflect our Party’s nature and purpose and its fine work style is Yan’an spirit. In strengthening and improving our Party’s work style under the new condition by enlarging Yan’an spirit, two points are crucial. First, the essential purpose of serving the people whole-heartedly must be carried out earnestly. Second, the work style of hard work and plain living must be advocated.
