Abstract: French thinker Baudrillard’s research on the nature of postmodernist society——consumption society shows that art and literature of the consumption society become pure symbol reproduction, and consumption society becomes a simulated hyperreal society by mass media, advancing the very realistic consumption cultural theoretical problem and that of human consumption desire. It provides a reference frame for us to construct Chinese-featured contemporary literary theory,which should pay close attention to consumption problem of daily life, and the problem of consumption desire to enasle mass culture to develop healthily, in order to guard against desirousness in daily life and effect the true aestheticalization in life.
