Abstract: The debate on the style of poetry and prose is a metaphor with a richest colouring of badinage in writing in our time. When a poet turns to prose writing(perhaps only occasionally), he is not only exploring the possibility of prose style but also trying to maintain his status of a poet, i.e.he has both to keep to the demarcation between poetry and prose and to infiltrate the poetic structural patterns (not only breath) into prose or to turn them into key elements of prose. In a certain sense, his prose and poems form a “para-position” relation.
