Abstract: Viewing the creation of Chinese prose poetry in recent 20 years, people have observed that the change in form is relatively eased and that it establishes with the prose poetry content call it its inner form) a relation, which is mutually restrictive as well as complementary to each other. In the prose poetry circles in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the mainland, elderly writers tend to write to express their emotion in traditional styles, while less elderly ones pay much attention to the connection between the reality and the present time, filling in them with the vanguard factors of contemporary literature(poetry). It is necessary for the Chinese prose poetry to keep relatively stable in form; it is more necessary that it should look for a change from being stable. It is new creation that matters to the vitality of prose poetry.
