Abstract: The“Party building”thought is an important component of the Party history research，and in the perspective of the discipline of ideological and political education（IPE），it is also an important content in the study of the thought of IPE. Party building，which consists of constructions of organization，thought，and styles，is actually a process of ideological and political education on the Party members，and this process is just the“Party building”thought that coincides with the thought of IPE. A study of this relationship may help better realize how the IPE“thought”came into being historically in China help forming the“thought”of strengthening the Party members’ideological and political education in the new period.
