Abstract: With the soybean protein isolate(SPI), carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)and pea starch(PS)as film-forming material, and with glycerin, sorbitol, polyethylene glycol(peg), Tween as the plasticizers, the three- element compound protein membrane SPI/CMC/PS was prepared with tapecasting, and the influence of several plasticizers on the properties of the composite wax was studied. The infrared spectra was used to characterize the composite film of various kinds of plasticizers. The experimental results showed that the tensile strength and elongation of three-element compound protein membrane SPI/CMC/PS were better with the plasticizer glycerol and sorbitol. The infrared spectrum showed that the three-element compound protein membrane SPI/CMC/PS plastified was of good compatibility.
