Abstract: Based on continuous several days′ monitoring of particle concentration in Fuzhou third ring road expressway in 2017，and simultaneous recording of the weather and the data of traffic characteris? tics，to analyze the characteristics of particulate emission，it was obtained that the temperature，humidity，wind speed with PM_{2. 5}，PM₁₀ concentration had a significant negative correlation.The results showed that the ″weekend effect″ was not obvious in this section of the road，the total amount of traffic and PM_{2. 5}，PM₁₀ concentrations were significantly positively correlated. In the investigation of six vehicle types，small cars and large trucks had the most obvious influence on the concentration of particulate emission，small cars had a significantly positive correlation with PM_{2. 5} and PM₁₀，while the large trucks showed a significant positive correlation with PM_{2. 5} ，and a weak correlation with PM₁₀.
