Abstract: Graphene is a two-dimensional free state atomic crystal which was only present in the room temperature conditions up to now. It not only has very good electrical, optical and mechanical properties, but also exhibits good thermal stability, chemical stability and high surface area. Therefore, graphene and its composite materials can be widely used to control environmental pollution. Organic pollutants such as organic dye, benzene series, pesticides and antibiotics are the main environmental pollutant sources which pollute the environment and threaten human health. This paper describes the application of graphene and its composites in adsorption and degration for organic contaminants in recent years.
