Application of Data Mining Technology in MOOC

Abstract: MOOC is aiming to support web-based massive open interactive online course. It is self-study,easy to be used, easy registration, abundant resource of study. So it attracts a lot of learners who have different study aim, different education background and different study characteristic all over the world.Only when MOOC meets learners individual requirements and study aim, it can obtain sustainable development and maximize its existence value. A lot of useful information can be obtained and to provide decision-making support with the technology of data mining. Data mining technology is used in MOOC to find the learners study behavior characteristic to support better education resource and teaching strategy, and then the existence value of MOOC is maximized.
