Abstract: We first introduce the concept of mesoscopic biomimetics. Then, we briefly describe the methods of nanofabrication and microfluidics, followed by a few examples of their applications in mesoscopic bioengineering. Taking into account the rapid progress in all areas of life sciences, we believe that this interdisciplinary approach will general great impact for both fundamental and applied researches.
