Abstract: ′Jiangdazi Wandou 1′ is a new cultivar which was bred by combining individual selection and group selection from mutant plants in the field. The cultivar showed early and moderate maturity；it had dwarf plant and white flower；also had green and straight pod with five to six grains per pod，and 5. 10 g per pod；the protein content of fresh grains was 15. 55 mg/g；each plant bore 30 to 35 pods. The average yield was about 320 kg/667m² . It is suitable forplanting in plain areas of Hubei Province.
