Rock Mass Structure Types，Measures for Supporting and Groundwater Treatment for Foundation Pit of Wuhan Metro

Abstract: In order to accurately grasp the geotechnical engineering problems of different foundation pit of Wuhan Metro，according to the engineering geological properties，the author divided the rock and soil in Wuhan area into six types of rock groups. According to the different combinations of each rock group，19 types of geological structure of rock and soil were distinguished. The geological problems of shallow foundation pit，deep foundation pit and ultra deep foundation pit of Wuhan Metro in various geotechnical and geological structures were discussed in detail，and the suggestions for various kinds of foundation pit support and groundwater treatment were put forward.
