Abstract: In this article，the algebraic method of full rank decomposition of split quaternion matrix was studied by means of complex representation of split quaternion matrix. This paper extended the concept of generalized inverse to split quaternion matrix algebra and finally studied the solution of split quaternion linear equation by generalized inverse.
