Abstract: With trimethoxy benzene as material, after hydrolysis with concentrated hydrochloric acid, prepared phloroglucin, the yield reached 80%. The process route has the feature of easy material obtaining, short synthesis route, preparing method simpleness ，high yield, low cost and few three wastes. Tested and analysed the sample with IR ，UV，NMR and MS，the results showed the product is consistent with the chemical structure of the substance.
