Abstract: Objective To implement the quality control circle（QCC）for reducing the incidence of adverse events resulting from nursing the patients hospitalized for organophosphorus pesticide poisoning. Methods Sets up the organization of QCC. Through measures of proposing program，grasping current situation，setting goals，analysing main reasons，formulating and implementing countermeasures，confirming the effect，to ensure the smoothly implementation of the QCC. Compares the incidence of adverse events before and after implementing QCC. Results The incidence of adverse events resulting from nursing the patients hospitalized for organophosphorus pesticide poisoning reduced from 17% before implementing the QCC to 5% after that. The extent of improvement was 64%. Conclusions The implementation of the QCC reduces the incidence of adverse events resulting from nursing the patients hospitalized for organophosphorus pesticide poisoning，improves the patients satisfaction，ensures the safety and effectiveness of medical services.
