Methods:210 cases with 452 non-palpable breast masses were taken B-mode ultrasound guided vacuum assisted Mammotome. Results:210 cases with 452 masses, maximum diameter ranged from 4-17mm were resected. No serious complications except postoperative hematoma in one case. Pathological diagnosis showed that:417 masses were benign,35 were malignant, which received breast resection and Ⅰ,Ⅱ level axillary lymph node dissection in next step. 132 cases of benign masses were followed-up after 3 - 6 months,no residue and recurrence;46 cases were lost.Conclusion:B-mode ultrasound guided vacuum assisted Mammotome is a safe, effective, slight trauma and rapid recovery operation method. There is great value for the treatment of non-palpable breast mass and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
