Abstract: Objective：To study the clinical value of B-mode ultrasound guided vacuum assisted Mammotome for the treatment of non-palpable breast masses. Methods：210 cases with 452 non-palpable breast masses were taken B-mode ultrasound guided vacuum assisted Mammotome. Results：210 cases with 452 masses，maximum diameter ranged from 4-17mm were resected. No serious complications except postoperative hematoma in one case. Pathological diagnosis showed that：417 masses were benign，35 were malignant，which received breast resection and Ⅰ，Ⅱ level axillary lymph node dissection in next step. 132 cases of benign masses were followed-up after 3 - 6 months，no residue and recurrence；46 cases were lost.Conclusion：B-mode ultrasound guided vacuum assisted Mammotome is a safe，effective，slight trauma and rapid recovery operation method. There is great value for the treatment of non-palpable breast mass and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
