Abstract: Many researches on the preparation of mesoporous hexagonal boron nitride（h-BN）have been made in recent years. Some synthesis methods of h-BN with high specific surface area are introduced，mainly introduces water（solvent）heat-sealing method，template method，organic precursor process，chemical vapor deposition and so on. The characteristics of these methods and existing problems are pointed out. Moreover，the development prospect of these methods and the application prospect of h-BN with high specific surface area are presented.
