Application of PBL Teaching Method in Dental Hard Tissue Disease Comprehensive Treatment

Abstract: ObjectiveTo explore the teaching effect of comprehensive treatment to dental hard tissue disease, compares the problem based learning(PBL) method and lecture based learning(LBL) method. MethodsDivided the students into experimental group and control group, the experimental group had the PBL education while the control group had the LBL education, tested the two group students in the theoretical examination, cases analysis and operating skills, and compared the performance. ResultsThere are no stastical significance between two group students in theoretical examination and operating skills, but in cases analysis, the experimental group was obvious higher than control group. ConclusionLeads PBL teaching method into dental hard tissue comprehensive treatment can improve cases analysis ability of students.
