Clinical Analysis of 36 Cases of Concha Bullosa Treated by the Endoscopic Submucosal Partial Resection of the Middle Turbinate

Abstract: Objective:To explore the clinical situation, CT manifestation, clinical experience and curative effect of concha bullosa treated by the endoscopic submucosal partial resection of the middle turbinate. Methods36 cases of concha bullosa treated by the endoscopic submucosal partial resection of the middle turbinate from June, 2006 to June, 2008 were retrospectively analyzed. ResultsThe curative effect of 36 cases of concha bullosa treated by the endoscopic submucosal partial resection of the middle turbinate is better than the traditional endoscopic sinus surgery. 20 cases were obviously more effective and with less complications. ConclusionThe method of endoscopic submucosal partial resection of the middle turbinate in treating chronic hypertrophic rhinitis with concha bullosa is a good, effective and shortcut, and it could be a choice of clinic.
