Abstract: To comprehend why Hegel’s philosophy of history takes logics as its foundation, one must try to give up the preference of contemporary thought for finitude and self, and to really sympathize him from his standpoint. One also need to understand his view on the nature of historical inevitability, which is a kind of practical inevitability to be accomplished through action. On this premise, this paper investigates respectively the logicality of history and the historicity of logic and demonstrates the immanent relationship between history and logic. On the points of infinite variety of historic themes and the non- exhaustiveness of meanings in history,Hegel and modern philosophical hermeneutics are probable to reach agreement.
