Abstract: This paper evaluated the competitive advantage of Japan’s trade outwards and to China by applying RCA and RRCA index which revealed that Japan had a comparative advantage in machinery and transport equipment and manufactured goods,and a more obvious advantage to China than to the world.We believed that Japan and China had a deep dependence of trade on each other by calculating the trade integration and complementary index.We still found that Japan had a stable trade structure with China since 1995.As to Chinese market,the comparative advantage of Japan to China trade took a growing stable tendency and the products with the prominent advantage were those with the most stable comparative advantage of Japan to China.
