Abstract: Shanhaiguan has an extremely important strategic position in replacement era of Ming and Qing Dynasties.History of Shanhaiguan is a history book which recorded the history of Shanhaiguan region.It has a total of seven different versions of History of Shanhaiguan in Ming and Qing Dynasties.But due to the replacement of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the three versions of that time disappeared. Study the two editions of Ming and early Qing, we can pry out the contents and features of the rest versions. Except the version of She Yiyuan,as to the others, the profit and loss is not much, and even if to the lost three, their content also can be tracked.Changes of Shanhaiguan region’s strategic position in replacement era of Ming and Qing Dynasties also can be clearly seen.
