Comedy of Grand Discourse and Base Reality:Canxue’s avant-garde period novels

Abstract: Canxue’s early avant-garde novels in the dimension of irony effectively reveal the dislocation of grand discourse and reality, which highlight the exchanges plight of individuals and groups. From Wong Nai Street in the mid-1980s , Breakthrough Performance in the end of the 1980s, to thought report in early 1990s , Canxue’s novels deal with the empty, the confusion of daily events by subjective, absolute narrative which has always been dominant in Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature .Wong Nai Street describes an ideological community to deal with how to survive in a gorgeous virtual mainstream discourse, Breakthrough Performance chronicles how the neighbors in the framework of noble discourse set up a fun Beisuo reality from real world, thought report writing that personal fantasy how to fictionalizel the value of existence by noble words ,showing ridiculous relationships.
