Abstract: The investigation of the CCTV feature-programme titles shows that the commonest ones are those of the modifier modified word structure in tetrad pattern, whose basic rhythmic unit is disyllabic foot. The wording of the titles is restricted by such multiple elements as ads, vogue expressions, paper-medium language, traditional culture, the types of columns, etc.
