Abstract: Organocatalytic asymmetric cascade reaction is one of efficient method for construction of complexe molecular due to its environmentally friendly, atomic economy, higly efficiency and selectivity, and has become an important research subject in organic synthesis. Recently, tremendous achievements have been made in asymmetric organocatalytic cascade reactions by chiral second amine derivatives. According to the mechanism and the action of catalyst in the reaction, from two activated modes which are imine-enamine and enamine-imine,the applications of various chiral second amine derivatives to asymmetric organocatalytic cascade reactions are reviewed.
