Abstract: The conception and characteristics of aromatic plant were introduced in this article. The application forms of aromatic plants were summarized. The investigation and analysis have been conducted on the plant species，quantities and arrangement of aromatic plants. The methods of ecology，garden designing and botany were applied to in-depth analysis. At last，some questions in the application of aromatic plants were pointed out and several constructive suggestions were given out.
