Abstract: Combined with the teaching practice，through analysing the present situation and the open problem of course teaching of theoretical mechanics course，expounds the necessity of course system and teaching reform of theoretical mechanics；Following the idea of teaching reform of theoretical mechanics，carries out the discussion on concrete reform embodiment from five aspects which include guiding ideology of teaching，teaching contents，teaching means，teaching methods and examination system，proposes the expected effect.
