Demolding Process of Butyl Rubber Plug Based on Intelligent Manufacturing

Abstract: To solve the problems such as difficulty in demolding and defects,the demolding process of butyl rubber plug was studied. We constructed the constitutive equation of butyl rubber plug material,and established the calculation model of butyl rubber plug demolding force. The effects of vulcanization temperature,demolding speed,and friction coefficient on the demolding force were simulated. The simulation results showed that the structure of butyl rubber plug was the critical factor to determine demolding force,the influence of friction coefficient on demolding force decreased with time,the higher demolding temperature,the smaller demolding force,and the demolding speed during production should not exceed 8 mm/s. The proposal of optimizing the process parameters laid the foundation for the intelligent manufacturing process planning of butyl rubber plug.
