To promote the green development in agriculture and rural area,as well as the rural revitalization strategy,it is of great significance to explore how new type of urbanization affects agricultural nonpoint source pollution(ANSP). Based on the panel data of 159 prefecture cities of China between 2007 and 2019,the influential effect of new-type urbanization pilot policies on ANSP is evaluated using Differencein-Differences(DID)with Multiple Time Periods. The result shows that the new-type urbanization pilot policies can effectively reduce ANSP discharge. An analysis of the influencing mechanism reveals that the policies relieve ANSP discharge by enhancing environmental regulation and agricultural green technology. An impact analysis reveals that the impact on new-type urbanization pilot differs significantly depending on the city’s size and location in the eastern, middle,or western part of the country. The current new-type urbanization pilot policies can effectively reduce the ANSP discharge of eastern cities and large cities, while the influence is insignificant on middle and western cities and cities of medium and small sizes.

The COVID-19 pandemic has an unprecedented impact on enterprises. Meanwhile, the recent digitalization is becoming a new driver and key support of enterprises’innovative development and economic high-quality growth. Using the data of enterprises and building digitalization indexes based on the entropy evaluation method,an empirical study is done on entrepreneurial digitalization in relation to the economic elasticity of an enterprise in withstanding and easing the impact of the pandemic. It is discovered that when the characteristics of entrepreneurial demands are under control, digital enterprises, compared with those of a limited digitalization, suffered a lower sales drop during the pandemic, with an average reduction rate of 5.5 percent. This proves that digitalization has softened the impact of the pandemic. An heterogeneous analysis of digitalization further shows that enterprises in the Chinese eastern and southern regions,state-holding enterprises,foreign-funded enterprises, and enterprises in their maturity have displayed a more distinct elastic effect. A mediation mechanism test verifies that digitalization has affected and adjusted the impact of the pandemic on corporate performance via improving the innovation capability of enterprises, easing financing constraints, and offering optimistic growth predictions. Based on the above, the policy advice is to adjust the digital strategy as soon as possible in the post-pandemic era, narrowing down the digital gap between different regions and enterprises, increase the investment on and support for digita lization, and achieve a comprehensive and balanced entrepreneurial digitalization.

A Probit model and a mediation model are built on the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)2018. They empirically tested the impact of livelihood capital on the intergenerational transmission of poverty in farmer households and the mediating effect of women’s participation in labor. It is discovered that live lihood capital significantly blocked the intergenerational transmission of poverty in farmer households, and that the labor participation of women, besides reducing the probability of mutidimensional poverty, had a prominent mediating effect in the process of livelihood capital blocking the intergenerational transmission of poverty in farmer households. Therefore, the support to farmer households’life and production should be increased, educational investment and equality in rural areas should be paid more attention,a multi-layer social support network should be established, and more flexible approaches to employment and entrepre neurship should be encouraged. A combination of the measures can be taken to block the intergenerational transmission of poverty in farmer households.

By means of fixing the original position, the veil of ignorance, and reflective equilibrium,John Rawls thinks reasonable and self-centered citizens can sacrifice their own particularity, probability, and tendency to objectively choose a principle of justice acceptable to all,and that such a principle of justice is free from the special restrictions of types of social system. However,in the theoretical framework of Marxist critique of political economy, justice is forged by the productive relationship of a specific social formation;there is no universally effective conception of justice and a principle of justice adaptable to multiple social development stages is illusive. Marx is against the transcendental conception of justice that is rooted in absolutism. The Analytical Marxism does not break away from this conception and fail to understand that the idea of justice has only the instrumental value to serve a certain historical stage.
