Abstract: The access of private dialogue to the public field of mass media is closely related with social changes. Firstly the change of social cultural context provides a spiritual guidance for the spread of private dialogue to modern Chinese mass media, secondly the upsurge of the consumerist trend of thought provides the material base and lastly the inrush of Western doctrine of depth psychology, postmodernism and feminist trend of thought supports it ethically.
