Abstract: Spinoza’s ethics is demonstrated in geometric form, yet with freedom as its ultimate aim. The conception of freedom has profound theory meaning in Spinoza’s ethics. Freedom is a kindof conatus toward “ego-keeping (keeping-being)”, which is the affirmation ofman’s inner nature and natureexistence as of reason and morality. To gain freedom is to participate in the absolute affirmation of the god. The way to achieve the inner freedom is “the rational love for the god”.
