Research on Tourism English Translation ofScenic Spots from Intercultural Aspect

Abstract: With the development of tourist industry, foreign tourist can find English tourist easily. However, the quality of these translations is not satisfying. Because there are many differences between Chinese and western culture, inappropriate translation will lead to misunderstanding and can not realize the expected target. From the perspective of cross-cultural communication, tourism activities is an important way of cross-cultural communication, language is the carrier of cultural transmission. Cross-cultural translation strategy is helpful to ensure that the tourism text translation could achieve its purpose. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of the translation of tourism, it requests the translators to increase their cross-cultural consciousness.
