The Class Basis and Group Identity of the Partisans in Late Han Dynasty

Abstract: This paper focused on the class basis and group identity of the partisans in late Han dynasty. It is a false conclusion that noble clans brought out the partisans’comments,since noble clans had not an observable increase in emperor An and emperor Shun. The real reason of partisans’comments was the strong group identity,which was formed in the concrete relations,such as teacher and students,upper and lower officials,and was strengthened in some assembling. The group identity was showed and strengthened by person comments,which brought out a high tide to partisan comments and led to a forbidden and disaster to partisans.
