Abstract: The theory of the socialist market economy is an important part of Marxism in China, an important part of the cultural construction with Chinese characteristics. 17 Sixth Plenary Session “decision”pointed out that the development and prosperity of socialist culture must adapt to the requirements of the socialist market economic development, focus on institutional innovation, strive to build a vibrant, efficient, more open institutional mechanisms in favor of cultural and scientific development , for emphasis to make the socialist core value system into the whole process of the national education, the spiritual civilization and Party building. To bind the socialist market economy with socialist core value , we should try to find the fit of the theory of market economy and the ideological construction.
