Study on Prefaces and Postscripts ofNCAFP Style Novels in Ming Dynasty

Abstract: The creation, research and dissemination of NCAFP style in the Ming Dynasty play the role of a connecting link between the preceding and the following.Numerous prefaces and postscripts of the existing novels are significant data in the study of the knowledge of the NCAFP style in the Ming Dynasty as well as in understanding the research achievements and status of that time. The research was focused on the studies of “Shi Shuo Xin Yu”(New Collection of Anecdotes of Famous Personages), Liu Xiaobiao’s notes and the sequel books and imitations,which also touched upon a number of important theoretical novel theories.
