董仲舒改制思想的三种向度

摘要: 董仲舒讨论“改制”,既有理论层面的建构,又有经世角度的构想。具体说来,其改制思想具有三种向度:一是基于天人哲学中的王者受命观念而构建的新王改制说;二是对春秋经传展开创造性诠释所建立的孔子改制说;三是面对西汉早期的社会状况而提出的以更化为中心的汉代改制说。这三种向度具有紧密的关联。首先,新王改制说为孔子改制说建立了理论基础。其次,新王改制说和孔子改制说,一者以天的权威性,一者以孔子的权威性,在理论层面共同表明汉王朝革新更化的必要性和合理性。

Abstract: Dong Zhongshu’s reform thought includes both theoretical construction and practical conception. Specifically,its content has three aspects:first,the new ruler’s reform thought based on the idea that the emperor must accept the guidance of the heaven;second,Confucius’reform theory that is established through a creative interpretation of the Chunqiu Scripture;and third,the Han Dynasty’s conception of reform that revolves around change in face of the social reality of the early Western Han Dynasty. These three aspects are closely related. The new ruler’s reform thought has laid a theoretical foundation for the Confucius’reform theory;the two theories,one with the authority of the heaven and the other with the authority of Confucius,jointly illustrate the necessity and ationality of the reform of the Han Dynasty on the theoretical level.
