次磷酸铝阻燃剂的合成及其在PBT 中的应用

摘要: 通过工业副产物和次磷酸钠经一步反应制备得到次磷酸铝(AlHP)阻燃剂。采用1H-NMR、31P-NMR、FTIR、XRF、XRD以及TGA等技术表征了其产物结构及热降解行为。作为阻燃剂应用于PBT时,20 wt%的阻燃剂添加量可使聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)的极限氧指数(LOI)由16. 6%提高至29. 2%,复合材料的垂直燃烧测试达到UL94 V-0级别;此外,AlHP的加入可显著降低PBT的热释放速率,促进稳定炭层的形成。

Abstract: In this study, aluminum hypophosphite(AlHP) flame retardant was synthesized with industrial by-products and sodium hypophosphite through one-step reaction. The structure and thermal behavior of the product were characterized by 1H-NMR,31P-NMR,FTIR,XRF,XRD and TGA. As a flame retardant being used in PBT,the limit oxygen index(LOI) of PBT with 20wt% filler loading improved from 16. 6% to 29. 2%,and the vertical burning test reached UL94 V-0 grade. Moreover,not only the heat release rate(HRR) of PBT decreased obviously with the adding of AlHP,but also the formation of a stable carbon layer had been promoted.
