Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of filing and arranging of Chinese herbal specimens，and to expand the amount of information on specimens of Chinese herbal medicine，the specimen database was constructed with NFC tag as information indexes carrier and with herbal specimen as medica. An information management system for TCM specimen with front and back platform interaction was established with Android handset client as NFC information reading device. It was proven by practice that the system designed in this paper made the management of the specimen more convenient and more efficient，and made it more interesting for students to study in herbarium.
