Abstract: At present, the higher vocational education of our country is in the best period of its historical development, and every aspect has made great progress and achieved a lot, but we should keep in mind that there exist many problems in the process of its rapid development, especially in ideological and political education for the students. The paper has concluded and discovered several outstanding problems concerning carelessness in conception, imperfection of managing system and operation mechanism and unclearness of the characteristic about profession in the ideological and political education for the students of higher vocational education colleges at the present situation. The paper has analyzed all the problems and provided the methods to solve them.
